Director Academics and Head of Research
Imran Zawwar is MILE's Academic Director and Head of Research, his responsibilities include strategy development, designing leadership and capacity development programs, conducting leading edge policy research, developing regional case studies, selection of program faculty, forming strategic alliances with top business schools and global consulting firms, and working with MILE leadership in developing the organizational vision to sustain the future growth.
Imran is an accomplished business and international development strategist with experience in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and Australia. He is frequently retained by C-level executives, heads of state, global business leaders, and government officials to provide counsel on organizational strategy and helping organizations to focus making strategies a reality. His work spans some of the most challenging global development and business issues, involving key areas of policy, strategy, and the implementation of change.
Imran holds a B Sc. in Management Sciences from Pakistan Naval Academy, B Sc. in Engineering from NUST, MBA in Finance and Marketing (Double Gold Medal) from SZABIST, MS Public Policy and Management (Highest Distinction) from Carnegie Mellon University and PhD in Entrepreneurial Economics from Cranfield University (in process). In addition he is a professional member of Australian Institute of Management and Project Management Institute USA.
