Dr. Salim had a diplomatic experience by joining the Sultanate's Diplomatic Corp as the  First Secretary at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Washington DC from 1998 to 2003.  Born in December 1963, Dr. Salim Received Doctorate of Science degree in Information Systems and Communications from  Robert Morris University of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University of Washington DC and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Lindenwood University of St.Charles Missouri.

Dr. Salim enjoys Learning about the latest innovations in Information Technology, Reading contemporary and classical Arabic Literature and practicing Korean martial arts (Tea Kwon Do).
