Dr. Osman Ahmed is responsible for developing strategic collaboration on Smart Buildings globally at the Building Technologies (BT) Division of Siemens Industry. He has been with the company for more than 23 years and is a leader on technology, research, and innovation management. He has published/presented close to 60 technical papers and frequently speaks as a keynote speaker. He has more than 60 patents, awarded and pending, combined. Dr. Ahmed is the recipient of 2004 prestigious “Siemens Inventor of the Year” award for his work on micro-systems applications in buildings.
