Joseph S. Coyne, Dr. P.H. is Director of the Center for International Health Services Research and Policy at Washington State University and Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Administration, Lecturer in the Executive Health Administration Program at the University of Colorado Denver, and Adjunct Professor of Healthcare Leadership Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership Program at Brown University.

He has taught international healthcare financial management to over 1800 students through faculty positions at Peking University Health Sciences Center in Beijing, China, the University of Lugano in Lugano, Switzerland, and Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He has served as a financial adviser to the French Ministry of Health, German Ministry of Health, Danish Ministry of Health and Beijing Association of Teaching Hospitals.
