Haluk Dortluo?lu was born in Ak?ehir, Turkey in 1972. Following his graduation from Ankara Science High School he obtained his undergraduate degree from the Department of Management of Bo?aziçi University. He worked at international independent audit firms Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young for about eight years. During his tenure as auditor, he rendered auditing and counseling services to companies in various sectors, particularly banks. He served as Accounting Director of Turkish Airlines between 2003 and 2005. He started holding office as CFO at B?M Birle?ik Ma?azalar A.?. in November 2005 and served as member of the Operation Committee. He completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of Harvard University in 2007. According to the results of a survey conducted by Thomson Reuters Extel in 2009, Mr. Dortluo?lu was named one of the top 3 CFO’s in Turkey. The same year, he was given the “CFO of the Year Award” by Finance in Emerging Europe, a business magazine published in Europe by Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung group. He is still holding office as CFO and Executive Committee Member at B?M. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bo?aziçi Managers Foundation since 2010.
